DIATwinMachinePilotOperation Guides
Arrange existing boards into a panel, then complete its frame, dimensions, configuration and simulation.
Create a panel from a saved board and set the child-board count, offsets and orientation.
Have Demo_Single_Board or your own prepared board available in the asset library.
Both child boards have the intended orientation, spacing and count.
STEP 01
Create a New Panel in Product, then open a saved board from the panel root. Expand the tree to check the source board.
STEP 02
Select Arrangement, verify the source node, set counts and X/Y offsets, then choose Apply Arrangement. The video includes adjustments; use the intended final arrangement for your exercise.
STEP 03
Inspect top and angled views to check both boards, spacing and rotation. Verify the child boards in the tree. Continue with the panel frame in the next video.
Both child boards have the intended orientation, spacing and count.
Complete the panel frame, Workpart and mount points, then save the product for recipe selection.
Have a panel and child-board arrangement ready. Size the frame for that arrangement.
Panel frame, Workpart dimensions and mount points are checked, and the product is saved.
STEP 01
Check Arrangement, create a Panel Frame under the Panel root and select its Parametric Shape.
STEP 02
Set the frame color and dimensions, then generate it. Check that the frame covers both boards and use example dimensions only with the matching setup.
STEP 03
Use Move Link on the frame link. Select Offset and adjust the position to align the frame with the board arrangement.
STEP 04
Select Workpart at the Panel level and measure or enter the entire panel width, length and thickness. Make sure a child board is not selected.
STEP 05
Create mount points under the panel Mountpoint and inspect Corner Mount Point. Use a side view to check the reference position and frame height.
STEP 06
Save through Save to Asset Library after checking name, group and preview. Verify the asset name in the saved message and select it in Recipe in the next video.
Panel frame, Workpart dimensions and mount points are checked, and the product is saved.
Assign feeders and tools manually, then compare panelized and flattened planning.
Have a saved panel and a part / feeder / tool / slot mapping. Keep the same product and accessories when comparing modes.
Both scopes are compared under matching conditions, with flow, timing and warnings recorded.
STEP 01
Select the machine and Panel product in Recipe > Create Project, verify their names and continue.
STEP 02
Complete position, orientation, attachment-point and conveyor-width settings in Product Assembly. Inspect the panel orientation on the machine.
STEP 03
Open the Product Feeder list. Select a part configuration field, choose the mapped feeder and slot, and complete installation. Repeat using the configuration table.
STEP 04
Switch to Tool, select the tool for the part and choose supported installation slots. Check the tool name and slot numbers after installation.
STEP 05
Open Select Designators & Fiducials and check insertion positions and fiducials for each board. Panelized plans one board at a time; Flattened Panel includes the panel in one planning scope.
STEP 06
Check designators, Feeder Slot, Tool Slot and sequence values in Flow Editor. Run Path Planning and wait for the result.
STEP 07
Open Run Simulation, choose Start and inspect the processing sequence, Cycle Time and status. Record this result as the comparison baseline.
STEP 08
Return to the settings and check the alternative processing scope and flow rows. Keep parts, insertion positions and accessories consistent, then run Path Planning again.
STEP 09
Run the alternative simulation and record sequence, completion status, Cycle Time and warnings. Compare equivalent conditions; readings at different video moments are not an efficiency measurement.
Both scopes are compared under matching conditions, with flow, timing and warnings recorded.
